I used to be able to see... so I can't figure out the part of relieving the dog and not being able to see. How does this part work? Has anyone here done that - been able to see and then get a dog? Did that work or rather, what was hard about it.

Do you have one? Are you thinking of getting one? Let's hear about it. I have a Yellow Lab named Picard. I got him from Guidedogs For The Blind, in San Rafael, California. He will be 10 years old this year, and he is an amazing animal.
